DEBBIE D. is a singer-songwriter who got her start in hometown Miami in the early ‘70s. She has since entertained in Los Angeles, New York City, and Las Vegas, where she performed in blues/rock, jazz and R&B bands, musical theatre and cabaret, and even spent some time as a stand-up comic. 

Most notably, while in L.A. with her original band, Debbie D. opened for the likes of Billy Vera (Billy & the Beaters) and during her time with a musical comedy act known as Michael & the Maids, she opened for Joan Rivers on numerous occasions at the famous Carlos and Charlie’s Club on Sunset Boulevard.  

Now based in Daytona Beach, Florida, DEBBIE D. brings it all home and serves up energetic, enjoyable music and fun shows for all ages – especially grown folk and groove-loving audiences. 

As a singer, songwriter, comic and actress, DEBBIE D. is a true and total entertainer.

Fronting  her own band, DEBBIE D. and The Classix, her soulful sounds offer a variety of musical styles -- blues, jazz, R&B, Motown, funk and a little rock – and a song list that covers classic tunes from the 40s up through today and is continually expanding. 

DEBBIE D. always surrounds herself with top quality musicians and together they have rightly earned a reputation as one of the top bands in the Central Florida area. They keep it grooving so your feet keep moving or they can set the room to a mellow, jazzy quiet storm feel if that’s the atmosphere the venue calls for.
